Outpatient Pharmacist

Overview Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (one day per week) Join our team as a Pharmacist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across our health system. In this position, you will function as a pharmacist in accordance withthe Iowa Board of Pharmacy, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities Creates and maintains patient profiles within the pharmacy system Review's medication profiles with each prescription fill Ensures appropriate and adequate medication inventory of controlled and non-controlled medications Verifies the accuracy of order entry and product dispensing Ensures proper medication handling and storage Prioritizes tasks to increase department efficiency Qualifications Education: B.S. Degree in Pharmacy required Doctor of Pharmacy preferred License(s)/Certification(s): Current License to practice Pharmacy in the state of Iowa required Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required Experience: 3 years of pharmacist experience required Retail Pharmacy experience preferred
