Zone Team Leader

Overview The Retail Zone Team Leader provides guidance and direction for the successful operation of a specific zone of the store’s retail sales floor. The role oversees a team passionate about merchandising and selling merchandise, while ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience. Primary Responsibilities Execute established procedures for the assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery. Ensure store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations. Oversee the process to ensure merchandise is planned for and received, and that the sales floor is properly stocked. Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for effective unload/processing of merchandise to the sales floor while driving associate productivity, daily task assignments, and customer service standards. Supervise associates within the zone and communicate company directives to ensure follow-up is completed. Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and handle additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer. Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis. Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safety-minded manner. Pay: This base hourly rate or base annual salary varies by location, position, experience, skill level, and qualifications. New Hire Starting Pay: $18.25 – $19.25 per hour.
