Promotion from assistant or co‑manager roles is a big plus. Comfort leading in fast‑paced, high‑volume, or high‑complexity store environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task. Creative thinking. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Essential Job Functions Frequently operate computer, printer, and occasionally cash register. Occasionally ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Frequently position yourself to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop. Identify and interpret email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures. Communicate with customers and colleagues accurately and timely. Move across sales floor, directing associates and assisting customers. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs, and move merchandise up to 5‑10 feet.
