As an unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol food, beverage, logistics, and distribution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery driver authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other required site activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting procedures. Observe logistics and distribution operations for unusual activity, report security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts, and complete accurate activity and incident reports. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
