We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services. Job Summary MOR PPM Inc. is looking for a Helper in Skippers, VA. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ability to identify all tools required for tasks. Operate machinery as qualified. Load/unload and place materials needed. Ability to identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks. Assist journeyman in daily tasks and work orders. Assist on any miscellaneous construction processes. Clean up work areas. Qualifications Must have knowledge on materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction. Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations. At least 6‑months as an industrial helper working in industrial construction environment. Prefer helpers with 2‑years or more experience in pulp and paper or manufacturing environment. Physical Demands Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign. Must complete Tappisafe online training. May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above. Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas. Must have full range of motion consistent with age. Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders. Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job‑related noises. Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces. Safety/steel‑toe shoes are required.
