Project Engineer

This is a structured hybrid position which requires working in our Owatonna, MN facility: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tuesdays and Fridays are home office workdays. Our Project Engineerscontribute to Wenger Corporation’s strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by participating in the concept and creation of structural/mechanical designs to meet the technical requirements, project cost, and schedule criteria required by our customers.At a minimum you'll need:Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of EngineeringProject design and development experience working in a team environment to satisfy project requirementsThe ability to interpret architectural and mechanical drawings/blueprintsExperience with design and modeling in CADIt’d be great if you also have:Familiarity with Project Management techniques and tools; Engineering data management system experienceManufacturing fabrication or assembly experienceFamiliarity with 2D layout in AutoCAD and exposure to BIM workflow in Revit/NavisworksAs a Project Engineer, a typical day might include: Conceptualizing and developing drawings with properly calculated dimensions, tolerance and materials in accordance with company standards and practices.
