About the Position

We are seeking a Locums Hospitalist Physician for PRN coverage in Salem, Massachusetts. Sporadic shifts are available, allowing qualified physicians to pick up dates as coverage needs arise. This is a hospital-based position caring for an adult patient population .

Compensation : $180 - $190 Per Hour

Position Highlights

• Approximately 1 year of experience required

Available Shifts

Night Hospitalist

• 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

• 12-hour shift

• Approximately 6–8 admissions per shift

Admitter Shift

• 8-hour shift

• Either 3:00 PM–11:00 PM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM

• Approximately 4–6 admissions per shift

The physician will focus on admissions only during both the 12-hour night shift and the 8-hour admitter shift. No procedures are required, and the ICU is closed.

Requirements

• MD or DO

• Board Certified

• Active Massachusetts medical license

• DEA registration required

• Minimum 1 year of experience
