Phlebotomist

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 15 Corporate Park Drive in Pembroke, MA. Our Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and are responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing. Essential functions include:

• Obtaining quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensuring accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
• Communicating effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Handling sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Working fluently with computer programs and systems, and complying with HIPAA regulations.
• Performing other test administration and specimen collection as assigned.
• Complying with all policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy course preferred.
