Driver for School Transportation

Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and safety-focused School Van Driver to transport students to and from school and related activities. The ideal candidate must prioritize student safety, maintain a professional attitude, and ensure timely transportation. Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school, home, and approved locations Follow assigned routes and schedules Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure students follow safety rules while on the vehicle Maintain a clean and well-maintained van Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and management Comply with all state and federal transportation regulations Qualifications Minimum age requirement (23 years old) Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type and state regulations) Clean driving record Background check clearance Drug screening clearance Ability to pass a physical examination Experience working with children preferred Reliable, punctual, and professional Skills Strong safety awareness Good communication skills Patience and ability to work with children Dependable and responsible #J-18808-Ljbffr
