Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) position in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Medical Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele) level unit in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult inpatients with diverse medical conditions, including cardiac, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, infectious diseases, psychiatric, and substance abuse. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Baltimore, MD
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every 6 weeks, with availability for 2-12 hour shifts, including every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed
• Required Qualifications: RN license; 2 years current nursing experience; dysrhythmia management skills; BLS certification; EPIC electronic medical record system experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC; previous experience in a telehealth or telemetry environment is a plus
• Additional Information: The patient population includes cardiac, pulmonary, GI/GU, infectious diseases, psychiatric, and substance abuse cases. The unit is a 23-bed medicine floor with telemetry/IMC level care. Candidate must have previous work history with any Johns Hopkins facility noted on the coversheet and in the work history for verification purposes, including PRN, staff, or travel positions. Previous employment at a Johns Hopkins facility must be at least one full year prior to applying as a traveler.
