Dental Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description Job Description Northeast Philadelphia pediatric dental office looking for a full-time front desk receptionist to join our team. 5-day work week, with 1 evening per alternate week. No weekends. We are a single doctor practice with tight knit team that has been serving the community for over 35 years. Responsibilities: Greeting and checking in patients Scheduling patient for new and follow up appointments Confirming appointments and answering office communications (phone calls, emails, text messages, etc) Providing insurance coverage estimates and verification of coverage Collecting payments, co-payments and deductibles Filing and following up with insurance claims, entering paid claims in patient management software Submitting pre-authorizations to insurance companies Pulling patient charts for upcoming appointments Maintaining and keeping clinical records in order Assisting with explaining treatment plans Maintaining a clean and professional office environment Skills / Qualifications: Customer service experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Good computer skills Experience working in dental / medical office and with Dentrix dental management software (Preferred) Speaking a foreign language (Spanish) is preferred
