PositionOverview

GreeneConstructionisseekingaskilledanddependableDiesel Mechanicto support the maintenance and repair of our fleet and heavy equipment. This role is critical to ensuring our trucks and machinery remain safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance across all job sites.

KeyResponsibilities

Performroutinemaintenanceandrepairsondieselengines,includinginspections, adjustments,andpartsreplacement
Diagnoseandtroubleshootmechanicalissuesusingdiagnostictoolsandequipment
Identifyandrepairelectricalandwiringissues
Perform maintenance and repairs on air brake systems in compliance with safety standards
Repair and maintain trucks and equipment, including Mack, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Peterbilt, and Volvo
Safelyperformheavyliftingandmanualrepairtaskswhilefollowingallsafetyprotocols
Maintainaclean,organized,andsafeworkenvironment
Accuratelyinputmaintenancerecords,repairs,andissuesintoHCSS (Equipment360)
Applystrongproblem- solvingskillsandattentiontodetailinallworkperformed
Adapttochangingprioritiesandsupportongoingprojectsandoperationalneeds

Qualifications

Provenexperienceasadieselmechanicorsimilarrole
Strongmechanicalknowledgeofdieselengines,trucks,andheavyequipment
Abilitytodiagnoseandrepairmechanicalandelectricalissues
Familiaritywithairbrakesystems
Abilitytoworkinafast -paced,hands-onenvironment
Strongworkethic,reliability,andattentiontodetail

Preferred Qualifications
