Program Manager The University of New Mexico’s Project ECHO has a great opportunity for a Program Manager to join our New Mexico Community Peer Education Project (NMCPEP) Team! The Program Manager will support the continued growth and expansion of NMCPEP and Behavioral Health Peer Initiatives (BHPI). This individual will oversee daily programmatic operations, supervise team members supporting both initiatives, and support the employment of several contractors and future staff as program growth continues. As a successful Program Manager, you will play an active role in: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of programs and activities related to CPEP and BHPI and statewide behavioral programming. Overseeing the coordination, preparation, and facilitation of the monthly teleECHO program for Probation and Parole Officers located throughout the state. Overseeing team travel to probation and parole offices, public health offices, and community-based organizations to accomplish CPEP and BHPI objectives and overseeing all follow-up actions for site visits to the state’s five Probation and Parole regional divisions. Overseeing the management and coordination of referrals submitted by probation and parole staff for client services. Ensuring BHPI programming aligns with evidence-based and peer-informed best practices, workforce development priorities, and program deliverablesand implementing continuous quality improvement across both CPEP and BHPI programs. Leading and supervising (2) Program Specialists, (1) Operations Specialist, contractors, and any additional FTEs as program growth necessitates. Designing positions, recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and conducting annual evaluations. Reassigning staff duties as needed and supporting staff in new or evolving roles using a team-based leadership approach. Providing regular one-on-one check-ins to address challenges, concerns, performance expectations, and professional development needs. Providing regular training and professional development opportunities for staff. Serving as primary liaison to directors of probation and parole, re-entry divisions, BehavioralHealth providers, peer organizations, state agencies, and other external constituencies on matters related to program activities andas primary liaison to internal teams supporting CPEP and BHPI, including Finance, Grants, Data, Replication, and IT. Managing the creation, production, and delivery of promotional, educational, and informational materials related to program activities. Spearheading program replication efforts domestically and internationally, including oversight of curriculum and replication guide development. Overseeing program promotion through media outlets and digital platforms in collaboration with Project ECHO’s Communications Team. Overseeing presentations at monthly partner launch trainings, Project ECHO events, and national or international conferences. Working closely with the Executive Team Member and Senior Program Manager to plan, develop, and implement strategies for identifying and generating funding and resource opportunities. Supporting the development of grant proposals and other funding efforts with agencies such as departments of behavioral health, corrections, probation and parole, and re-entry divisions. Overseeing curriculum development and facilitation of virtual training for probation and parole staff, in-person training for new cadets at the corrections training academy, and 90-Day Onboarding Training for new community peer educators in accordance with the established peer certification requirements. Overseeing the planning and implementation of the annual Peer Leadership Summit and other BHPI workforce development activities. In collaboration with the Data Analyst and Operations Specialist, ensuring data, statistics, and narratives are accurately captured in iECHO, Smartsheet, Confluence, and other program systems. Supporting the development of monthly and quarterly reports demonstrating program functionality and best practices.
