Prepared Food Lead

Counter / Server Person Job Summary: The Counter/Server Person position plays a key role in providing an exceptional customer experience. You'll be the face of our family (or company)—as the first point of contact for our clients, this position requires a welcoming attitude, a warm and friendly smile, and the ability to work as a team efficiently in a dynamic environment. It is essential that all of our clients feel welcomed, respected, valued, and cared for. You'll serve food in the right portions, explain the daily menu and specials, charge the customer correctly, and keep your area clean and stocked. A smile, good energy and speed are very important. We want every customer to feel respected and leave happy. Responsibilities: Wear a clean uniform and apron every shift—personal appearance is important and shows respect for our food, team, and customers. Receive and serve customers in a cordial, professional manner and with a smile when approaching the counter. Explain the dishes on the daily menu and the specials clearly and precisely. Prepare the customer's food selections and pack orders carefully, ensuring precision in portions (2 level tablespoons of rice, 2 of protein, 2 sides). Serve all food according to established serving standards; Any exceptions must be approved by management. Process transactions accurately through the POS system. Maintain the speed of service, especially in periods of peak demand, ensuring quality and consistency. Keep counters, food areas, and workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift. Record and enter all shrinkage items and scan them as appropriate. Washing dishes or helping in the kitchen when requested. Follow all food handling and safety regulations. Communicate to the chef or culinary leader any items that are out of stock or out of stock immediately. Treat all clients and teammates fairly, respectfully, and professionally. Other tasks assigned by the manager or team leader. Try to connect with customers—learn names, favorite dishes, or ask how their day is going. Work safely and comply with all company policies. Show care and cultural sensitivity towards all customers. Maintain great attention to detail and cleanliness. Strictly adhere to portion control and company pricing standards. Arrive on time for each shift and ready to work. Participate as a team player, supporting teammates when needed, especially at times of high demand. Help colleagues when needed and be a strong team collaborator. Learn the menu and be able to answer questions about ingredients and dishes. Suggest and promote additional food items or retail items when appropriate. Share ideas for improvement if you see something that can be optimized. Other tasks assigned by the manager or team leader. Qualifications: Be kind and respectful to all people. Able to work quickly and with concentration. Ability to lift, carry, bend over, and stand for long periods. Ability to speak clearly and listen well. You must be reliable, honest, and punctual. Able to follow rules, serving standards, and instructions. Willingness to learn, grow and be part of a team. Working Conditions: Fast‑paced kitchen and customer service environment. Standing for long periods and working during peak hours (lunch or dinner). It requires multitasking and good communication.
