Floor Tech - 1st Shift
Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah (GRHS) is seeking candidates for the position of Floor Tech - 1st Shift with the Housekeeping Department.
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities
- Maintains supplies as needed.
- Cleans and straightens assigned areas.
- Collect, sorts, launders, transports, and distributes linens and uniforms.
- Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse.
- Operates hand tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Must have some basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning chemicals, and how to operate some equipment used in cleaning. Also, must be physically able to lift 25-50 pounds and squat, stoop or bend as required for cleaning.
