Provide guests with menus and inform them of our specialties and features. Manage the seating chart to ensure smooth guest flow. Handle dining reservations and maintain waitlists. Coordinate with kitchen staff, management, and serving staff to ensure dining details are handled properly. Address customer concerns and ensure overall guest satisfaction. Direct guests to coatrooms and waiting areas as needed. Assign tables to patrons based on their needs and server rotation. Engage with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service. Operate cash registers and manage payments for food and beverages. Prepare cash receipts and make bank deposits after closing. Assist in supervising dining room staff to ensure prompt and courteous service. Prepare staff work schedules. Requirements Excellent oral expression and comprehension skills. Strong active listening abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and external parties. Strong social orientation and a preference for working with others. Sensitivity to others' needs and a cooperative attitude. Ability to maintain composure and self‑control in high‑stress situations. High stress tolerance and the ability to accept criticism calmly.
