This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00), weekdays, with a minimum of every other weekend and holidays. There is an option to flex to 4x12 if needed or available.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for an ASAP start. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Responsibilities include triaging patients, administering essential treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in emergency situations.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as required.
• Manage patients with critical health issues, including those suffering from CVA and dysrhythmias.
• Maintain accurate medical records and facilitate communication with healthcare team members.
• Implement isolation precautions and use PPE as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (all via AHA).
• Preferred: CPI/CIC certification.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred but not required.
• A valid state nursing license is required.
