Regional Painter - Northern Tier

We are seeking a skilled  Regional Painter to maintain the appearance and upkeep of our nursing home and long-term care facilities across multiple locations. The Northern Tier Region consists of New Castle, Mercer, and Franklin. The ideal candidate will have experience in professional painting, surface preparation, and minor repairs to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel between assigned nursing home/long-term care facilities to complete painting projects.

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching, sanding, priming, and power washing as needed

• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and furniture.

• Perform minor drywall repairs, caulking, and surface touch-ups.

• Maintain an inventory of paint supplies, tools, and equipment. Follow safety guidelines and proper disposal methods for painting materials.

• Coordinate with facility management to schedule projects with minimal disruption to residents.

• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.

• Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional painting experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or commercial settings.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of paints, finishes, and application techniques.

• Ability to perform minor drywall repairs, plastering, and wood refinishing.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, stand for long periods, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.

• Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between facilities.

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality, safety, and cleanliness.

• Communication: Ability to interact professionally with staff and residents.
