Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a similar role License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care unit. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience. Weekend shifts will be required every two weeks. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with patient ratios is desired. The ability to chart using EPIC is required. Community hospital experience is preferred. Experience in LTAC and Trauma Level I or II settings is preferred. Travel experience is required. A variety of nursing skills are required, including but not limited to: Accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, arterial line management, and care of ventilated patients. The role requires monitoring and administering medication via various delivery methods. Candidates should be comfortable with high acuity patients and various medical conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary for this position. The ability to float to other units as needed is part of the job requirements.
