Product Director Forecast Automation: Finance Decision Optimization

As the Product Director, with the Forecast Automation and Engineering team, you will leverage your techno-functional expertise to design and implement forecasting models that meet business needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring model accuracy and efficiency.Job Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret forecasting processes to design optimized solutions.Identify opportunities for process improvements and model enhancements (e.g., connecting upstream/downstream calculators, streamlining code base).Collaborate with tech teams, functional partners (P&A, Controllers, Risk), line-of-business partners (Firmwide, Commercial & Investment Bank) and internal stakeholders to align on business and technical requirements.Develop and manage a scorecard of metrics to track success in a multi-dimensional way (e.g., time saved, data pipelines automated, control checks enabled).Deliver on AI agenda (e.g., agentic solutions that automate forecasting-related activities, AI development for discovery) Articulate a product vision and strategy to guide development efforts.Develop a strategic roadmap for onboarding models onto cloud-based architecture (e.g., Databricks).Leverage JIRA and JIRA Align to align stories, epics, and initiatives to the product roadmap.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.Proven experience in product management with a focus on data-driven solutions.Strong understanding of Databricks architecture and Python coding.Experience in developing and executing forecasting models.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop comprehensive product roadmaps.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:Background in retail banking products.Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud solutions.Ability to effectively maximize delivery of business goals and returns on investment.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
