District Campus Operations Director

District Campus Operations Director Position Hours: Full‑time extended workdays, occasional Saturdays, and frequent travel. Employment Term: 223 workdays / At‑will. Reports to: Chief of Staff. Location: San Antonio, Texas (District Office). Position Mission The District Campus Operations Director is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational health, financial sustainability, and family experience of all Jubilee Academy campuses. This role moves beyond tactical support to strategic oversight, directly managing district‑level teams responsible for the “lifecycle of a student” from initial recruitment and enrollment to daily attendance and long‑term family retention. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Management Supervise and evaluate Assistant Principals of Operations (APOs) or Deans of Culture (DOCs), campus front office, and campus registrars. Conduct weekly 1:1 check‑ins and performance evaluations based on KPI data (Enrollment, ADA, Customer Service). Standardize high‑quality front office protocols to ensure a professional, welcoming environment. Conduct regular campus walks to audit operational efficiency. Direct the District Attendance Coordinator to audit and monitor Average Daily Attendance (ADA) across all campuses. Design and implement a district‑wide Attendance Intervention Framework to combat chronic absenteeism and maximize state funding. Ensure compliance with Texas Education Data Standards (TEDS) and PEIMS reporting requirements. Attendance & ADA Optimization Lead the District Attendance Coordinator in audits and monitoring of ADA. Implement a district‑wide Attendance Intervention Framework. Ensure compliance with state reporting requirements. Family Engagement & The Jubilee Experience Create and mandate a standardized Family Engagement System including parent academies, volunteer programs, and feedback loops. Oversee the Front Office Excellence initiative, ensuring concierge‑level customer service. Serve as the final district‑level point of contact for complex parent concerns and community relations. Charter & Community Responsibilities Convey the charter’s mission to the public and encourage support to accomplish the mission. Illustrate understanding of charter and community needs and begin activities to meet those needs. Raise community and parent involvement. Participate in student recruitment efforts. Charter Atmosphere Encourage a constructive, thoughtful climate for learning. Promote fairness for students and staff from all cultural backgrounds. Communicate effectively to sustain the Jubilee culture. Supervisory Responsibilities Maintain regular leadership team meetings with direct reports. Promote continuous improvement among staff, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and work with the executive director to establish high expectations. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education Leadership, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Experience: 5+ years in school operations or district‑level management within a Texas Charter School environment. Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Texas‑specific SIS platforms (e.g., Ascender) and PEIMS reporting. Leadership: Proven track record managing multiple sites and leading middle‑manager teams. Communication: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred. Working Conditions Mental/Physical Demands: Maintain emotional composure and professionalism under stress. Frequent standing, movement, and event participation. Occasional lifting of school materials or equipment. Extended hours during peak seasons or events may be required. Other Requirements: Adhere to Jubilee staff dress code and policies. Maintain professional working relationships across campus and district. Stay current with developments in education and CCMR practices. Submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
