Location: Manitowoc Hours: 6am - 2pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime Salary: Starting at $21.50 Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on and detail-orientedteam leaderto join our Fabrication team in Manitowoc. This role plays a key part in supporting production operations by ensuring technicians have the materials and resources needed to maintain workflow, while also tracking downtime and quality metrics. This position also serves as a backup to the Production Coordinator. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Production Coordinator with daily operations, job setup, and technician support Monitor production flow and ensure technicians have necessary materials Coordinate packaging and skidding of fabricated parts Maintain production display boards and document downtime/quality issues Step in to assist with production tasks as needed Suggest and support productivity and efficiency improvements Promote and maintain a clean, safe work environment Train new employees on PPE and safety protocols Qualifications and Skills Needed: Education : High School Diploma or equivalent Prior leadership or production support experience preferred Strong communication and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email Familiarity with BPCS system or willingness to learn Solid understanding of fabrication processes and product knowledge Why join the KI Team? 401(k) with employer match Company funded ESOP Monthly Goalsharing Bonus program Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Short- and long-term disability Life Insurance Onsite nurse and physical therapist Onsite fitness center Join us at KI and be part of a team that values your contributions and supports your professional growth!
