Territory Sales Manager – Tacoma, WA Area Generate revenue by developing and managing profitable sales of Springs Window Fashions products and services within assigned territory of home‑fashion dealers, interior decorators, designers, and builders. Responsibilities 70% – Call and meet with dealers, decorators, designers and builders in the territory to increase sales of SWF products. 10% – Conduct sales training and seminars to promote acceptance of SWF products. 5% – Handle customer complaints with diplomacy, tact and understanding to maintain loyalty. 5% – Develop and maintain competitive analysis of product details, pricing, marketing strategies and strengths/weaknesses; communicate findings to the Business Unit Manager. 5% – Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records; report expenses as required; adhere to company travel and entertainment guidelines to ensure profitability. 5% – Attend training sessions and sales meetings to expand product knowledge; recommend product improvements to Marketing. Requirements Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years of sales experience preferred. Experience selling custom products and/or industry experience strongly preferred. Excellent sales personality – even tempered, passionate, sincere, outgoing, and friendly. Basic understanding of human behavior; confident verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel regularly by car and occasionally by commercial airline; some positions may require 2–5 nights of overnight travel monthly. Good analytical and mathematical ability and strong organizational skills. Good driving record. Creative selling skills with imagination and innovative ideas to recognize and respond to customer needs. Effective communication planning, timing and self‑presentation. Represent Springs in a manner that adds value to the product offering. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
