Moving Helper

We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and professional Movers/Helpers to join our moving team. Under the supervision of a Driver or Crew Chief, Movers/Helpers assist with packing, wrapping, loading, transporting, unloading, and placing household goods and commercial equipment for residential and commercial customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and can represent the company in a professional manner at every job site. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated and dependable candidates. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday – Saturday, weekends as needed, year-round work Supplemental Pay: Tips Education and Experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Driving Experience: 1 year preferred Driver’s License: Preferred Moving or General Labor Experience: Preferred, but not required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, physically strong, respectful, and willing to work hard as part of a team. Responsibilities Assist with loading, transporting, unloading, and placing household goods and commercial equipment Pack, wrap, protect, and handle customer belongings with care Follow instructions from the Driver, Crew Chief, or supervisor Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members Provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process Help maintain moving equipment, pads, dollies, straps, and tools Assist with truck inspections and equipment inventory when needed Help complete paperwork accurately as directed by the Driver or Crew Chief Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules Work within the estimated move time and job scope Maintain a clean, professional appearance and wear company-approved uniform Respect customers’ homes, offices, property, and personal space at all times Qualifications Moving, warehouse, construction, landscaping, general labor, material handling, delivery, or transportation experience is helpful Must be able to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout the day Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, balance, walk, and stand for long periods Strong teamwork and communication skills Professional attitude and dependable work ethic Good hand-eye coordination Ability to follow directions and work safely Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred, but not required Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Must be available to work weekends as needed Must be able to pass a background check and pre‑employment drug test Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position. Candidates must be able to lift 70 lbs. or more repeatedly and assist with moving heavy furniture, boxes, and equipment.
