We're building our PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant team and offering competitive per-visit pay with the flexibility to work on your terms.Pay Rates – Per Completed VisitPer Visit - $42Downtime (pre-approved wait time) - $32/hour"Completed" = visit done in the home + documentation finished in EMR within 24 hours + orders/signatures uploaded + meets QA standards.Service Area & ScheduleCleveland / Northeast Ohio What You'll DoProvide skilled occupational therapy treatments to home health patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in accordance with the established plan of careAssist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and home managementImplement therapeutic interventions focused on fine motor skills, coordination, cognitive function, and adaptive techniquesMonitor and document patient progress toward established therapy goalsEducate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and compensatory strategiesMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR within required timeframesCommunicate regularly with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progressWhat Sets VNA ApartAI-assisted documentation - spend your time with patients, not paperwork4-star CMS agency with CHAP accreditation and a 124-year legacy in Northeast OhioMileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate ($0.70/mile)Paid training & CEUs through ReliasLimited weekend/holiday requirements - we respect your time offResponsive support team - scheduling, intake, clinical supervisors, triage, and after-hours coverage so you're never on an islandPublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer - qualifying employees may be eligible for federal student loan forgiveness after 120 paymentsOne of the only home health agencies in Northeast Ohio with a dedicated Behavioral Health nursing programRequirementsMust -Have:Active COTA license (Ohio) + current BLS certificationReliable vehicle and valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout the Cleveland / Northeast Ohio service areaMinimum 1 year of clinical occupational therapy assistant experiencePreferred / Nice-to-Have:Prior home health experienceExperience working under OT supervision in a community or home-based settingFamiliarity with HCHB or similar home health EMRExperience with adaptive equipment recommendations and home modification assessments
