About the Role:

As a Part-Time or PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Green Palms Health & Rehab at Crawford, you will play a critical role in our rehabilitation department, working closely with our licensed occupational therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients. Your expertise in occupational therapy will help patients improve their cognitive, physical, and sensory abilities, enabling them to regain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed occupational therapists with treatment sessions, including therapy exercises, activities, and modalities
• Develop and implement treatment plans, modifying plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ physical and cognitive abilities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in in-service training and education programs to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy

Requirements:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of [State]
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field preferred
