• Night shifts -- 6 pm - 6 am, 12-hour shifts
• 18 - 20 patients per shift
• Emergency department -- low to moderate acuity
• No APP support on shift
• Pediatric care required across all age groups
• Newborn resuscitation skills required
• 1% pediatric patient volume
