Radiology - Imaging Physician

We are currently working with RadFirst at Ascension Alexian Brothers hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL. They are seeking some ongoing Radiology locum coverage. Level 2 Trauma

Diagnostic Radiology:
Coverage needed starting ASAP (flexible)
Hours: 7:30a 3:30p
Primary reading Diagnostic Rad with IR Procedures
Reads include: DX Reads, including plain films, CTs, MRIs
Occasional CTP (if a candidate does not read profusions, we will ensure they are paired with someone who does, while also encouraging openness to training in this area)
Light IR procedures, some days may have up to 6, while others may have none
Procedures: Myelograms, Lumbar punctures (when done with fluoroscopic guidance), Retrograde urethrograms, Arthrograms, Joint injections (when done with fluoroscopic guidance)
All GI fluoroscopy cases: Video swallows (also known as modified barium swallow studies), Upper GI series, Lower GI series (barium enemas), Full contrast lower GI studies, & Air contrast (double-contrast) lower GI studies
Efficiency metrics:
- roughly 70-80 reads per 8 hr period
- stroke alerts: 20 mins
- ED stats 30-60 mins
- inpatient stats 60 mins
- critical results - inpatient TAT - outpatient TAT
