Marketing Events Specialist

Job Area Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group, Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group > Marketing Events General Summary The Event Marketing Specialist is responsible for helping execute and implement marketing projects and materials to support the experiential marketing team. This individual will support Event Leads on various events ranging in size and scope. Responsibilities include technical demo support, logistics for tradeshows and events, adherence to internal processes, and warehouse organization, project management, vendor coordination, and working cross‑functionally within marketing and other departments. This role will be based in San Diego, in office. Duties, Responsibilities & Qualifications BA or BS degree in marketing or business or 3-5 years industry experience. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving commercial electronics, power‑related problems, and network connectivity/configuration. Demonstrate attention to detail to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues before they occur. Research, procure, install and test hardware (backdrops, signage, and products) for tradeshows and events. Collaborate with team members, internal stakeholders and vendors on the planning and execution of events. Supports event leads on larger, more complex projects within a team environment (pre‑planning and/or onsite). Oversee all aspects of technical and logistical support for event functions, ready to step into any role as needed due to client requests or changes in event conditions. Provides regular communication with project teams. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including weekends and holidays, as required. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to meet and exceed internal stakeholder expectations. Ability to provide organized, meaningful solutions under time‑sensitive conditions. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits $33.56 - $50.34 per year.
