This contract opportunity, conveniently located near Piedmont, AL, is looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work with a diverse caseload of 40 students, ranging from 3 years old through 6th grade. You’ll collaborate with staff at a single school site, providing assessments, individualized therapy, and support within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• Active AL Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
• Previous experience with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students age 3 to 6th grade
• Work with a caseload of approximately 40 students at one school site
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain detailed records and regularly update student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and support educational teams

Your commitment in this contract role covers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a start date as soon as possible and extending through May 20, 2027. Compensation for this role is set at $40-45 per hour.
