Responsibilities include:Capturing capital needs and ideasVetting proposalsManaging procurement process of manufacturing capitalTracking and reporting project progress to budgetEnsuring completion and full transition to manufacturingThis position is responsible for the entire life cycle of capital equipment and managing all phases including resolving issues as they arise. This is a leadership position and the successful candidate should have financial and technical experience to track project performance for new capital projects. You will also need the organizational and communication skills to coordinate the projects between Facilities, Manufacturing, and Engineering. The final measure of success will be Capital Equipment in use on schedule and within budget.Basic Qualifications8+ years of experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering fieldDemonstrated experience leading teams, managing projects, and influencing outcomeStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Ability to build partnerships with Manufacturing, Engineering, Safety, Security, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Program LeadershipProject Management experience managing scope, schedule and budgetExperience defining or using manufacturing equipment Desired SkillsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Math, Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)Experience managing complex manufacturing capital projects.Experience leading cross-functional project teams.Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects.Experience within an aerospace or defense environment.
