Java Developer
Software Technology Inc
Java DeveloperJava developer on a cross-functional team under the direction of the IT Manager. Translates user stories and customer acceptance criteria of increasing complexity into a logical, efficient, and optimal systems design. Develops and maintains new and existing web applications by writing code to meet business rules, security standards and government regulations. Works on a self-organizing, collaborative team and provides recommendations for issues resolution. Creates and executes required test plans on all new and changed components.Project BackgroundReason for opening:Along with a portfolio of other projects this candidate will assist on converting application from WAS v7 to WAS v9 as well as upgrading Java systemsDay to DayDesign solutions in alignment with MMO standardsProvide timely, accurate and transparent communications per MMO team normsApplication support for Customer Care systems, WAS/JAVA upgradeKanban team environment/processesJIRA (time tracking)Required Skill & TechnologiesJAVA (v1.8)
