Billing Specialist

Pay: $20-22/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone with solid billing or administrative experience who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and keeping things organized.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing invoices, verifying billing information, maintaining records, and working with customers to ensure account information is accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

What You'll Do:

• Calculate costs for services and ensure charges are accurate
• Review and verify billing data and correct discrepancies or errors
• Prepare detailed, itemized invoices and other billing documentation
• Calculate discounts and other applicable charges as needed
• Perform general bookkeeping and data-entry tasks
• Maintain accurate records, invoices, and supporting documentation
• Follow up with customers to obtain, verify, and update account information
• Assist with other administrative and billing-related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of billing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues independently
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Comfortable learning new software and systems
• Ability to stay focused and work effectively under pressure
• Previous office experience preferred
