You are a collaborative and engaged leader who will oversee the Reemployment Support Team and partner with Boards to provide and facilitate reemployment services under the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program. The Manager II performs moderately complex (journey-level) managerial work administering the daily operations and activities of a business function, division, or department. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

You will be trusted to:

• Manage day-to-day activities of the reemployment support team.
• Organize assigned RESEA staff to align with workload demands, fill vacancies, sustain operations and operate within the RESEA budget.
• Coach, counsel, and mentor direct reports
• Provide training, develop and conduct presentations and/or demonstrations for UI claimants and staff.
• Enhance program effectiveness by developing and recommending service delivery guidelines, providing expert guidance on reemployment support team issues, and implementing action plans for operational improvement.
• Gathers information on team accomplishments and reports metrics for inclusion on the RESEA Dashboard
• Represent the department and TWC at meetings, conferences, seminars, and serve on committees.
• Perform related work as needed.

You qualify with:

• Three years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency, six months of which must have been in an administrative management or supervisory capacity.
• Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
