Enterprise Workplace Support Manager

Overview The Enterprise Workplace Support Manager serves as the management level interface to internal customers and peer groups across the Technology Organization. They are responsible for managing internal customer relationships to ensure the Technology Organization is providing the necessary support for business partners’ use of technology to be effective in the performance of their daily jobs. The incumbent stays abreast of and understands business needs and changes, ensuring the team can respond to demands while delivering results in a timely, cost‑effective, and efficient manner. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Service Desk front line during first contact with business partners via swarming, taking ownership of work and escalating to appropriate peer groups for final resolution. Own the problem‑management process, collaborating with subject‑matter experts to identify workarounds, establish plans to fix root causes, and maintain proactive incident management, automation, and self‑service options. Represent the Technology Organization at high‑level leadership meetings and external forums, communicating issue status to peer groups and advocating for supported business partners. Attract, develop, retain, and manage a diverse group of technical individual contributors – hiring, performance management, termination, providing daily work direction, feedback and coaching. Plan workforce requirements, identify and develop successors for themselves and direct reports. Exercise budgetary oversight, managing a departmental budget and ensuring financial accountability for project work and initiatives required by internal customers.
