By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing "care with dignity and life with hope" to our developmentally disabled group home residents.Responsibilities:Transport/safeguard residents on outingsCoach residents in skills development & administer medicationsProvide person-centered care including personal care as neededPerform household maintenance tasks, including meal preparationOther duties as assignedQualifications:A HS diploma/GEDValid NYS Driver's LicenseAbility to perform tasks that may require stooping, crouching, and 2-person lifting up to 250 pounds.Ability to maintain personal safety and respond appropriately in a calm, non-confrontational manner during an individual's physical or emotional outburst.Schedule:Part-time evening +weekend days, part-time early am, and On Call opportunities available. Typical staffing needs include:Evenings – (3p-11p or 4p-8p)Weekend dayshifts – (7a-3p)Early am weekdays - (5:30a - 8:30a, Mon-Fri.)Base Rate of Pay : $21. per hour (Weekend differential pay is an additional $1.00/hr.)This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
