Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Department Associate in Fayetteville, GA. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, operating forklifts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are received efficiently and accurately. Receiving and inspecting inbound shipments for accuracy and damage.

Verifying quantities, part numbers, and shipment documentation against purchase orders and packing slips.

Operating reach truck, stand-up, and sit-down forklifts to unload, transport, and store materials safely.

Performing cycle counts and assisting with inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels.

Using RF scanners and computer systems to receive inventory and update warehouse records.
-
Entering and maintaining accurate inventory data using Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems.

Understanding and accurately working with units of measure (UOM), including cases, reaches, dozens, cartons, and pallets.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe receiving area while following company safety procedures.

Working closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely material flow.

Previous experience in a receiving department within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required.

Experience operating reach truck, stand-up, and sit-down forklifts.

Strong understanding of receiving procedures, inventory control, and cycle counting.

Experience using RF scanners and warehouse computer systems.

Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, is a plus.

Strong math skills with the ability to accurately calculate quantities and verify inventory.

Knowledge of units of measure (UOM), including cases, reaches, dozens, and other inventory measurements.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Availability for an in-person interview in Fayetteville, GA.
