## Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant (MA/PSA) - Medical Group Specialty SuitesApplylocations: NSO 71 Waukegan Road Lake Blufftime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R44622**Hourly Pay Range:**$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Po****sition Highlights:*** Position: Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant* Location: Lake Bluff, IL* Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)* Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am-7:00pm rotating; 1 Saturday a month**What you will do:*** Answer phones* Schedule appointments* Collect co-payments* Complete patient registration* Provide other administrative support to the physician practice* Check in and check out patient* Verify insurances* Greet patients and escort them to exam room* Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit* Provide front office support as needed* Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight* Phlebotomy and injections may be required**What you will need:*** **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required* **Certification**: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred, but not required* **Experience**: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
