Accounts Payable Associate

This position is full-time (Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm) on-site at our New Hyde Park headquarters location (3333 New Hyde Park Rd., Suite 304, New Hyde Park NY, 11042). JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AP Associate to join our fast-growing Dental Service Organization. As an AP Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the finance team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transitions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding organization within the dental industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process invoices, credit memos, and vendor payments accurately and timely using Sage Intacct . Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies. Contact vendors by phone and email regarding payment status, account updates, billing questions, and outstanding issues. Support acquisitions by reaching out to vendors to update billing information, payment methods, remittance details, and account records. Answer incoming department phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately. Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining vendor records, organizing documentation, and assisting with departmental projects. Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Facilities, and other departments to ensure smooth vendor onboarding and transitions. Maintain accurate vendor information and support the setup of new vendor accounts. Assist with month-end close activities and other projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS 1–3 years of accounts payable, accounting, or administrative experience preferred. Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of phone calls. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented.
