Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide virtual therapy and evaluations within a school setting in Montgomery, AL. This opportunity involves managing caseloads that include both therapy services and evaluations, with no more than 60 students assigned. The role requires supporting multiple campus locations through virtual sessions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech therapy services via telepractice to students
• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Managing caseload efficiently to ensure timely service delivery
• Collaborating with educational staff for effective student support

Qualifications and experience required:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Alabama ASHA certification is mandatory for consideration
• Alabama Educator SLP certification required or in process (pending status accepted)
• Experience with telespeech and teletherapy in an educational environment
• Ability to work a 37.5-hour week providing virtual services

Available virtual coverage locations include:

• Crump Elementary, Children’s Center-Based Campus, Youth Facility, Baldwin Arts & Academics Magnet School (split coverage)
• Dannelly Elementary, Bear Elementary, Davis Elementary (split coverage)
• Flowers Elementary, MacMillan Elementary, LAMP Magnet High School (split coverage)
• Vaughn Road Elementary

This position is contracted through May 27, 2027, with immediate start dates preferred. The role offers the flexibility of virtual work while supporting a diverse student population across multiple campuses.
