About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of SoC Architecture with a focus on AI and memory systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of the company's flagship silicon product, specifically in the area of memory expansion devices for scale-up networks. This role involves architecting efficient high-bandwidth memory expansion solutions, growing a team of SoC architects, system architects, and performance modeling engineers, and collaborating with software and ASIC design teams to define the overall system architecture. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SoC architecture, particularly in the context of data movement silicon, and experience with CXL, UALink, ESUN, and DDR memory subsystems. Applicants for the VP of SoC Architecture position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, with a Master's or PhD being preferred. A proven track record in architecting commercially successful data movement silicon, such as NICs, SmartNICs, IPU/DPU, and CXL devices, is essential. The role also requires a deep understanding of high-bandwidth and scale-up networks, as well as experience in building high-speed data movement SoCs. Familiarity with AI systems and networks, as well as with NVLink internals, is a strong plus.
