Data Engineering Manager

Salary: $172,000 - 254,000 per year Requirements:

• Were looking for a strong engineer with at least 5 years of industry experience as a data engineer or in a comparable role.
• We value experience with automated testing, design patterns, and other engineering best practices.
• We need deep expertise in Python and solid fluency in SQL, with a track record of building maintainable data pipelines.
• Were seeking an experienced people manager who has led 3 or more direct reports and been responsible for their development and success.
• We need someone who communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences and can explain complex ideas simply.
• Were looking for a player-coach who can contribute hands-on while also mentoring or managing others.
• We want someone who has led projects end to end, from concept and planning through execution and delivery.
• We value working knowledge of how ML/AI applications are deployed and monitored, along with a drive to support data-led initiatives.

• We collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers to build pipelines and ETL processes that help uncover insights.
• We establish scalable data architecture processes and practices that can be scheduled, automated, replicated, and adopted as standards by other teams.
• We help shape data team strategy by partnering with product leaders and managers.
• We contribute to execution and some planning of the organizations data strategy.
• We work closely with our Data Leadership team to keep alignment strong across the broader Data Organization.
• We manage individual Data Engineers and support their learning, growth, and success.
