Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: MUST have 18 months recent ICU experience. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. The role requires a commitment to a day shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week. Candidates must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably within one location, but combinations are accepted. A permanent Ohio license or a compact license is required at the time of application. Candidates must hold active certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and NIH Stroke Scale. References from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying must be provided for qualification. All required certifications must be current and in hand when submitting an application. Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases may disqualify applicants. Compliance with nicotine-free policies is necessary unless exempt status applies for certain roles. Travelers are allowed to remain on assignment for 18 months; a six-month break is required before returning, unless otherwise approved. Modules and training may be required pre-start and annually, with selected hours being billable.
