Position Overview The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, promotion, and execution of the Club's internal events and member programming. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, this position works closely with the Banquet and à la carte teams, Executive Chef, and other department leaders to create well-planned, engaging experiences for the membership. The Events Manager oversees internal Club events from concept through execution, including event development, Banquet Event Order (BEO) creation, menu coordination, event logistics, departmental communication, promotion, registration management, and on-site execution. The position works collaboratively with Golf, Racquets, Aquatics, Membership, and other departments to coordinate programming across the Club while ensuring event details are communicated effectively to the Food & Beverage and Culinary teams. The Events Manager is also responsible for the member-facing promotion and administration of Club events, including creating event flyers and promotional materials, posting and maintaining events on the Club website, monitoring registrations, and communicating event updates. The position may provide limited support for broader Club communications, including the monthly newsletter and weekly e-blasts, in coordination with the Membership & Marketing Manager. While the position may support private events and other Food & Beverage operations as needed, its primary focus is the planning and execution of internal Club events and member programming. Reports To: Director of Food & Beverage Schedule: Primarily Tuesday-Saturday, with flexibility required based on the Club's event and operating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience and Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, food and beverage, communications, or private club operations preferred Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Experience creating promotional materials, member or customer communications, and digital content Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with design and e-mail marketing platforms Professional, outgoing, and relationship-oriented with a hospitality-first mindset Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with managers, staff, members, and vendors Ability and willingness to adjust working hours based on Club events, programming, and operational needs Event Planning & Execution Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of internal Club events and member programming from concept through completion Develop event concepts, themes, and experiences in collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage and other department leaders Create, maintain, and distribute accurate BEOs for internal Club events, ensuring all event details are clearly communicated to the appropriate departments Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus and culinary concepts that complement each event and its intended experience Coordinate all event logistics, including timelines, room setup, décor, entertainment, rentals, reservations, vendors, and other event details Work with Banquet and à la carte leadership to coordinate staffing, service style, setup, and event execution Maintain detailed event timelines and planning documents to ensure deadlines and responsibilities are clearly established Serve as the on-site lead for internal Club events, maintaining a visible presence and ensuring events are executed to the Club's service and hospitality standards Monitor event registrations and participation, regularly communicating counts and relevant updates to the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and other appropriate department leaders Monitor member feedback and event performance to help evaluate existing programming and develop future events Participate in post-event reviews with the Director of Food & Beverage and appropriate department leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement Cross-Department Coordination Serve as a central point of coordination for internal Club events, working collaboratively with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Golf, Racquets, Aquatics, Membership, and other departments to ensure effective planning and execution Attend and actively participate in weekly BEO meetings, communicating details for upcoming internal Club events and collaborating with the Food & Beverage, Culinary, Banquet, and Facilities teams to ensure alignment and readiness Meet regularly with department leaders to identify upcoming programming opportunities, coordinate calendars, and gather the information needed for event planning, member communications, and promotion Maintain an organized Club event calendar to support effective planning and coordination across departments Communicate event details, responsibilities, and changes promptly to affected departments, ensuring critical operational information is understood and appropriately coordinated Event Promotion & Administration Create flyers, signage, digital graphics, and other promotional materials for Club events and member programming Post and maintain Club events on the Club website, ensuring event descriptions, dates, times, pricing, registration information, and other details are accurate Monitor event registrations and maintain accurate participation information throughout the planning process Update or remove website event information as details change and communicate significant changes to members when necessary Coordinate with department leaders to ensure events are promoted with appropriate lead time and accurate information Work closely with the Membership & Marketing Manager to maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and presentation of event materials Provide limited support for broader member communications, including weekly e-blasts, dining communications, and the monthly Club newsletter, as needed Support for Private Events Provide planning and operational support to the Banquet and à la carte teams based on business and operational needs Assist with private event planning, setup, coordination, and on-site execution during periods of high event volume or when additional management support is needed Maintain a visible presence in Food & Beverage operations and assist with event and dining execution when appropriate Work collaboratively with Food & Beverage leadership to ensure
