Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification and experience as a Surgical Technologist (Certified) or Operating Room Technician
• Demonstrated proficiency in sterile technique and instrumentation handling
• Previous experience assisting in a variety of surgical specialties preferred
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to anticipate needs and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position — schedule details provided during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and providing technical support
• Ensure proper sterilization and setup of surgical instruments and supplies
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
• Perform equipment checks and troubleshoot as necessary
• Monitor surgical counts to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate effectively with the entire surgical team to ensure seamless procedural flow
