** Position Summary **

The Service Coordinator serves as the central point of communication between our customers, service technicians, and internal departments. As the first point of contact for customers requesting service, this role is essential to delivering the exceptional customer experience Robertson Morrison is known for.

This position is responsible for coordinating service appointments, managing residential service agreements, supporting technicians with scheduling and inventory, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the Service Department. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

** Primary Responsibilities **

• Schedule service and maintenance appointments while maximizing technician efficiency.
• Review completed service work orders and coordinate any additional customer needs.
• Manage residential service agreement estimates, renewals, and customer communications.
• Contact customers to schedule preventative maintenance appointments.
• Order maintenance and repair parts from suppliers.
• Process warranty claims and coordinate warranty returns.
• Monitor and maintain service department parts inventory.
• Process and post shop pick tickets to the appropriate jobs.
• Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate work schedules to ensure phone coverage during normal business hours.

** Qualifications **

• Associate's Degree, equivalent education, military experience, or vocational training preferred.
• Experience in a service, construction, or HVAC environment is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
