Research Project Manager

Stanford University is seeking a Social Science Research Professional 3 to support two distinct projects relating to healthcare operations and policy. A key focus will be research activities and translational work concerning governance and ethical use of AI tools in healthcare. This individual will collaborate with faculty and staff across multiple Stanford Departments as well as leaders of other healthcare organizations. Duties include: Collaborate with the principal investigators in designing and refining research protocols. Lead the day-to-day operations of the projects, supervising other staff and trainees. Ensure adherence to protocols, participate in data collection, coordinate and cultivate relationships with other teams within and outside Stanford, conduct data analysis under the supervision of faculty. Lead strategic planning for the projects, anticipating and addressing steps needed to achieve milestones and deliverables. Co-author scholarly manuscripts, reports, educational materials, and other written work under faculty supervision. Collaborate with others to create and maintain project websites. Conduct outreach to external organizations to gather information and disseminate project findings. Present ongoing work and findings at convenings. Complete project-related administrative and budgetary responsibilities of a limited scope as needed. * - Other duties may also be assigned Budgeted Pay Range: $100,346.89 to $124,074.09 per annum.
