Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience and credentials
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm, Rotating Saturdays 8 am-2 pm

What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, treatments, surgery, dentistry, and hospitalized patient care
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory testing, injections, fluid therapy, and anesthesia monitoring
• Obtain diagnostic samples and assist with radiology procedures
• Safely handle and restrain patients using compassionate, low-stress techniques
• Educate clients regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
• Help maintain clean, organized treatment, surgery, and examination areas
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure an efficient workflow and outstanding patient care

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience as a veterinary technician in a clinical setting
• Strong technical skills and confidence working in a fast-paced hospital
• Experience with surgery, dentistry, radiology, laboratory procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and technician appointments preferred
• Excellent communication and client education skills
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and efficient during urgent medical situations
• Positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset
• Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
• Commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine
