Facility:

This well-established healthcare facility serves the Detroit Lakes region with 4 clinics and 1 hospital. The Behavioral Health Department features a collaborative team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychotherapists working together to provide comprehensive mental health services to the community.

Opportunity: BC/BE - Psychiatry

Join a growing Behavioral Health Department where you can practice adult psychiatry in an outpatient setting with the option to see younger patients if desired. This role offers excellent work-life balance with no call requirements and no weekends.

Job Details:

• Provide adult psychiatry services (age 18+) in an outpatient clinic setting with the opportunity to see patients under 18 if desired
• Conduct nursing home rounds 1-2 times per month
• No after-hours call coverage requirements
• Provide ED and inpatient consultations upon limited request
• Outreach opportunities at other clinics within daytime driving distance
• Telemedicine services may be incorporated in the future
• Structured appointment times: 20-30 minutes for medication checks and 60 minutes for new patients
• Join a team of 3 psychiatrists (including one Child/Adolescent specialist), 3 psychologists, and 3 psychotherapists

Compensation:
