Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: - Reading basic telemetry strips. - Some experience with CVA and TIA. - Total joint replacement experience.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.

Unit Details: - Patient population includes CHF, COVID, respiratory, GI, and diabetic patients, plus telemetry, post-cath, and total joint replacement cases. - No titratable drips; Diltiazem/Cardizem drips are given at a set rate. - RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once a shift. - Charge nurse and house supervisor support available. - Nurse aides available at 1:10-15. - Uses BiPap, CPAP, and breathing treatments.

Shift & Scheduling: - Schedules are made 4 weeks at a time; self-scheduling is used but is not final until the manager balances the schedule. - 2 weekends per 4-week schedule. - For Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving, work 2 days and 1 eve or 2 eves and 1 day. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - First to float; may float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
